Our flagship company, Western Sales and Testing of
Amarillo, Inc., started in 1963 as Western Sales and Service. In October of
1965, the company was incorporated and in 1972, moved to their current location
on 46th Ave. here in Amarillo, TX. Needing a facility to serve clients east of
the Mississippi, Portersville Sales and Testing, Inc. was founded in the
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area in 1976.
Understanding the needs of those in the compressed gas
industry for reliable and innovative compressed gas valves and pressure
devices, Western Valve, Inc. was established in 1976 and added to the family of
companies to meet those needs. P-Leasing, Inc. was added in 1985 to provide
tube trailers and multi-modal compressed gas containers for lease to our
clients. Our newest manufacturing facility, serving clients along the Eastern seaboard,
is BKC Industries, Inc., built in 1998 and located in the Raleigh-Durham area
of North Carolina.
We now also provide Acoustic Emission and Ultrasonic
Examination testing services for compressed gas vessels through TEA
Technologies, Inc., created in 2006.
We have vigorous safety and quality standards and have
active programs in place to continually train our employees and assess our performance.
Our goal is to exceed the standard by creating a quality product in the safest
manner possible.
